Day 1 – Wednesday, July 22
DEPARTURE
Overnight flight from Detroit to London Heathrow. (LHR) A charter bus will depart from Baron’s Bus Garage in Cleveland and travel to Detroit Airport (DTW), returning to Cleveland at the end of the tour.
Day 2 – Thursday, July 23
ARRIVAL IN LONDON
Arrive in London, where you will be met by your tour managers and transferred to the hotel in the city center. Enjoy a walking tour around your hotel, including exterior views of The Royal Albert Hall, Victoria & Albert Memorial, and Hyde Park, ending at Kensington Palace, where you will enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea at The Orangery in the grounds of the palace, as you get to know your fellow travellers. Walk back to the hotel, check in for 3 nights, and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure.
Day 3 – Friday, July 24
BUCKINGHAM PALACE- PARLIAMENT
This morning, a half-day tour of central London, including exterior views of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, and Buckingham Palace, and an unforgettable “flight” on the iconic London Eye, for stunning panoramic views of London. The tour will end at one of central London’s oldest pubs, with a traditional lunch of Fish & Chips. Enjoy the rest of the day and evening at leisure.
Day 4 – Saturday, July 25
EAST LONDON
This morning, travel East to the other side of London, for photo opportunities outside the 1000-year-old Tower of London and by the Thames and the iconic Tower Bridge, followed by exterior views of St Paul’s Cathedral. From here, you will walk across the Millennium Bridge to see Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on the South Bank. A short walk will then take you to London’s oldest and most popular market, Borough Market, where the tour ends. In this historic setting, you will find an incredible range of food and drinks from all over Britain and the rest of the world – where every item has a story to tell!
Day 5 – Sunday, July 26
LONDON – PARIS
This morning, transfer to the St Pancras Station for the Eurostar high-speed train to Paris. (2.5 hours) On arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in for 4 nights. This evening, enjoy a group dinner.
Day 6 – Monday, July 27
VERSAILLES
Today, enjoy a half-day excursion to Versailles to explore King Louis XIV’s magnificent Palace. Relive history as you walk through the various rooms of the State Apartments, including the famous Hall of Mirrors. Return to Paris for the afternoon and evening at leisure
Day 7 – Tuesday, July 28
PARIS – SEINE CRUISE
This morning, visit the Suresnes American Cemetery and Memorial, a solemn tribute to the U.S. soldiers who served in both World War I and World War II. Later, embark on a unique cruise along the Seine and admire the most beautiful monuments of Paris from the river. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 8 – Wednesday, July 29
PARIS
It’s your last day in Paris – how will you spend it? You will have a full day at leisure. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower with unrivalled panoramic views of the city!
Day 9 – Thursday, July 30
PARIS – USA
Transfer to the Paris airport for your return flight home with luggage packed with keepsakes and your heart full of memories!
