Daily Itinerary
Day 1 – Wednesday, September 22: Beginning of Tour
Depart Detroit and begin your journey to Italy.
Day 2 – Thursday, September 23: Arrival in Rome
Arrive in Rome, meet your tour guide, and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 3 – Friday, September 24: Ancient Rome
Visit historic sites throughout ancient Rome, including the Roman Forum, Capitoline Hill, Palatine Hill, and the Coliseum.
Day 4 – Saturday, September 25: Churches of Rome & Catacombs
Tour several of Rome’s significant churches and visit the Catacombs of Santa Domitilla along the ancient Appian Way.
Day 5 – Sunday, September 26: Vatican City
Explore Vatican City, including the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Day 6 – Monday, September 27: Assisi
Travel to Assisi to visit religious and historical sites connected to St. Francis and St. Clare before continuing to Florence.
Day 7 – Tuesday, September 28: Florence
Discover Florence, including the Duomo, Academia Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, and other Renaissance landmarks.
Day 8 – Wednesday, September 29: Pisa
Visit Pisa, including the Leaning Tower, Pisa Cathedral, and Baptistery before continuing to Venice.
Day 9 – Thursday, September 30: Venice
Enjoy Venice with visits to St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs.
Day 10 – Friday, October 1: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
